Running

One of the "new" things in our life is that my daughter has joined the schools cross country trail team, she every Sunday she is traing for a race. So we have a new fitness regime, and it suits her too.

I am excited about this, because she beats me, but we are still quite slow at it. So...on Mondays we are going to run to the gymnastics..fun for me sitting there all sweaty but nevermind. It'll be ok. I'll do anything for a little extra excersise. Hoping we'll both get a good result.

I better get on with my training is I am going to reach 320 miles run..and also do a 10 k race in October.

Wish me luck!

Oh by the way..yesterday I became an aunt to a little boy. I am so excited about it..I am sure he'll be a great addition to my brothers familylife. hugs1

Retrokofta- Retrocardigan

Good morning everyone,
I have been quite busy with life, thinking and being sad about losing my granny.

But it doesn't mean life hasn't continued.
Since this summer our family has aquired a few new cardigans. The pink and the dark grey cardigans belong to my daughter. My friend Gry has knitted them both. They were for her daughter originally, but the grey was too small and the pink one she just didn't like.

Result is that MY daughter gets them. yay!

The pale grey is the on ei have knitted. The pattern came in the Norwegian magazine Familien. I m sorry I do not remember which issue it was in. The designer is Kristin Wiola Ødegård and the book with the pattern in it can be bought here

But to be honest, I still have a few ends to fasten, but that is fine. this cardigan or kofte will last me forever!

I have also finished another cardigan, butI don't have a picture of it yet. And last , but nor least...my Melissakofte is growing bigger and bigger. Finally I have the mood for knitting stranded again. I love stranded knitting and 2015 will be my stranded year.

I hope you all have a lovely week filled with joy and happiness.
Much love to youa ll, MariaLinn
