it has been a while since I wrote my last post. Since then I have been busy knitting along on some projects. This is one of them, my friend Anne in Trondheim gave birth to baby Hanna some time in July, and in a few days this blanket will be on it's way to them.
I am actually really happy with the result, even if I did run out of wool and needed to knit the corner in a different colour.
I had planned all along to use another colour in the eyelets all around the edges of the blanket.
And all in all I am pretty happy:)What else am I doing these days? I have recently bought a drop spindle, and I am busy learning how to spin my own wool. And of course I am knitting away on the jumper and the Springtime swirl Shawl. I guess I ought to show progress pictures, I might get around to it in the end of thee weekend...I guess you just have to pop by every so often;)
Now that it's just 3 weeks left until the schools start, I guess we are getting closer to Autumn..ann more knitting. I will be better at updating when July is finished.
