jeg har proevd noe nytt, saa her er en ring jeg laget foer jul, det var kjempegoey aa lage den, saa det kommer til aa bli flere i loepet av aaret!
Fiona's mittens...well the first one without a thumb anyway! i didn't know it was that simple to make them, will have to do more and maybe in the end i'll manage to get rid of the little spaces between the needles..?::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

I like your mittens. I can avoid the spaces between my needles by holding them differently. Instead of the working needles(#1 & #4-the empty one) being above the holding needles (#2 & #3), I position them underneath . It makes the thread a little bit shorter between the needles. If you don't understand what I mean, I can send you pictures.
ReplyDeleteI have read a lot about tightening your tension and all, but that really never helped me. It wasn't until I repositioned my needles that I got rid of them.
The other option is to use the magic loop method with circular needles, and move your work to the cable when you start the new row.
