Peacock

I have for a while now been really fed up with nails and polishes, so a few weeks ago I cut them short and put the polishes away. Maybe that's what i needed because I was inspired by Beautylish top make some peacock inspired nails.

I am very happy with the result, and also going to go with my natural curls from now on, not going to brush them out any more. Wish me luck!

mani of the day

I did my nails a few days ago, and of course they do start chipping at the tip.
I am not a big fan of chipped polish, so I spunged some black polish on my tips. Here is the end result:

I think the result is ok enough.
Did I tell you that I am not buying any polishes this year, except base coat and top coat.
That's it.
I don't mean to dissapoint any nailfans out there, but I am slowly getting a little fed up with nailwear..so at some point I might give it a rest.

I have this thing, I always have to "use it up" and that is how I feel at the moment- so when I have used up the majority of my polishes...I might say: I'm outta here!!!

We'll see how I feel in a few months time.
But for now, take care my lovelies!

Autumn

Right, ladies and gentlemen...
I am horribly sorry that my blog has been so unused this year..I have been very busy doing lots of other things, such as writing letters,  reading books and taking my 9 years old daughter to all her clubs.

But, i have decided to get some life into this blog again..not like it used to be..not only knitting but a bit of everything.

So, I will start with today...

I have been crocheting..a big something...in pale blue, grey and a few more colours..I can't reveal what it is just yet ..or who it is for I should say.

Another thing that was big in our house happened a while ago, a meeting with a celebrity here in UK. Her name is Beth Tweddle and my Kamma met up with her. Pity you can't see the medal hanging around Kamma's neck..but it IS a real Olympic Bronze medal, it's the Medal Ms.Tweddle won in London 2012, Gymnastics of course!
Beth Tweddle and Kamma

Today it's another busy day for us, the husband is at work, and for us here at home we have been busy..Kamma practising the piano, trying to do some homework...more piano practising, and later on she has gymnastics and she will go directly from gymnastics to her piano lesson with Charlotte.

We do keep ourselves busy indeed! Hoping to finish my secret crocheting..and then to start making a blanket for Nisse's little boy. He's not due until October, so I do have a little time..but better get started..!

By the way, the nailpolish of the day is an old Avon polish...bronze like Beth's olympic medal.

Autumn nails

Pictures taken with my mobile just doesn't show up as very nice at all.-So sorry about that. The camera is lost and it didn't work that well anyway...butI am going to try to use another camera and try to upload some more pictures this week.*i might have a bit more time on my hands that usual.

I have been quite busy trying to tidy up the house...sofarI have had two whole days and still it looks nearly as messy as ever. I am trying to do it the FLYlady way.

It is taking time, but atleast the bathroom is clean and the dishes are done. New bedding on all beds as well..guess I should be happy that I managed to do these things.

I also finished my letter to Monika, Aaron and got started on my letter to Torunn!
We are busy as always ,and the days just fly by. Last month we were on DAY TRIP wo Southern Norway, to celebrate my Grandmothers 90'ieth birthday. God bless that wonderful woman!!
